This game definitely lived up to the hype it was getting all week prior to the game. It was the home opener for the Chiefs and they certainly did not disappoint the fans. The Ravens ended up striking first at the end of the first quarter after a powerful run by the running back, Mark Ingram. All of sudden the Chiefs strike with a 23 point second quarter and put the Ravens in a hole they had to dig out of. Mahomes and Jackson were absolutely fantastic during this game. Jackson was breaking ankles everywhere on the field, but Mahomes was even better with showing off his amazing arm. He threw and 83 yard touchdown and finished with 374 yards on the day. The Chiefs are now 3-0 and look to keep their winning ways against the 2-0-1 Lions at home next Sunday at 12PM. My prediction is the Chiefs win 33-18 with Watkins and Darrell Williams having a huge day!

The Chiefs are traveling to LA to play the 1-0 Raiders. The Raider are coming off of a dominant victory against the Broncos in their season opener. The Chiefs started this game off terrible! The were down 0-10 through the first quarter… The Chiefs ended up having an amazing second quarter in which they scored 28 points! I’ve never seen a team do this before and it just blew my mind. Mahomes threw for four touchdowns in the quarter and just had the crowd silent. Mahomes carried the offense in this one with no run game involved at all. The Raiders went into the game having hope and Mahomes and the Chiefs just destroyed them. The Chiefs are the real deal in the NFL and the rest of league better be ready for them. The Chiefs look to carry their winning ways against the 2-0 Ravens next Sunday at home. My game prediction is Chiefs win 30-20.

The NFL season has officially began its 100th season and the fans couldn’t be any more happier! The chiefs certainly didn’t disappoint anyone as they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-26! The game was in controlled in the Chiefs hands the entire way though. Mahomes was absolutely fantastic as he found his receivers gaining big yards with ease. Also, we got to see many huge gains on the ground by the newest member of the team Lesean McCoy. The offense looked sharp and was getting everything it wanted. Tyreek Hill was injured on a dirty play from star CB Jalen Ramsey and Hill exited the game with a shoulder injury. Everyone soon found out that he’s going to be out with a shoulder injury for about three weeks. In replacement of Hill, Watkins is going to have to step up and be the main receiver in Kansas City. Watkins had an outstanding performance in week 1 and looks to keep it rolling in Hills absence. The Chiefs play the LA Raiders next Sunday in AFC West divisional rivalry.

The final game of the Chiefs preseason was a disappointment to the fans. Not only did the Chiefs lose to the Packers, but they also didn’t play any of the starters! It was obviously the smartest thing to do, but it made the game really slow and less entertaining. We saw a lot of players on the field that will probably not see playing time in the regular season unless someone gets injured. The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Packer in almost every category for stats. The one that stands out the most is the fourth down efficiency. The Chiefs were 2/2 on fourth downs with one of them being a touchdown. The final score of the game was 27-20 with Packers winning in the final minutes. The season starts in a couple of days and the fans couldn’t be more excited for this season. The Chiefs have the most explosive and deadliest offense in the NFL and are ready to win it all. All of the fans can’t wait for week of the regular season.

After Week 3 of the preseason the Chiefs fall to 1-2, but we saw a lot of great things from the first string guys. After the questioning of whether D. Williams spot was safe, he ends up breaking out for a 62 yard TD from Mahomes. It was a great sign that showed the fans that there should be no concern about his spot. Mahomes played amazing and had mind blowing stats on just two drives! Can’t wait to see the season that the Chiefs and Mahomes have in store for us this year. The Chiefs defense didn’t look the greatest on the first couple of drives, despite not having Tyrann Mathieu and a couple of key defensive lineman. They ended up forcing a couple of third down and long, but it ended up getting torched by Jimmy Garoppolo. The Chiefs ended up having a lot of penalties as well, but both teams had zero turnovers throughout the entire game. Personally, I think the Chiefs are going to have an amazing year and finish with a record of 13-3 while winning the Super Bowl. The Chiefs lost 27-17 to the 49ers, but the starters did look sharp and ready for week 1 against the Jaguars.
