Wow, this is going to be an amazing game! The defending SuperBowl Champs look to take on the uprising Mahomes and the hot Chiefs at Gillette stadium. Everyone is going to have their eyes on this game because it could possibly be the AFC Championship match up this year. Tom Brady has been struggling this year with the Patriots conservative offense, but they look to take advantage of the Chiefs weak secondary. Patriots need to get the RB Sony Michel rolling. Whenever the Patriots involve Sony Michel in the offense they tend to be more successful on offense. The Patriots are going against one of the best defenses in the league this Sunday. They rank in top 5 in almost every category. Mahomes is going to need some key plays to get this win and need some help from his defense. Chiefs can’t rely on running the ball with the inconsistent performances from McCoy, Damien Williams, and Darrell Williams. The Chiefs have almost everyone healthy on the offensive side, so my prediction is Chiefs win 24-13.
Week 13 vs Raiders
This was a huge game for the Chiefs as the division is on the line with the Raiders. The Chiefs showed no signs of their record at all. They were dominating the whole game and gaining yards with ease the entire night. The defense had an amazing performance with 2 sacks and 2 int in a dominating 40-9 victory. Mahomes had many spectacular plays in this game. Throwing on the run for 25+ yards with ease and getting his first rushing touchdown of the season. Everyone seemed to be getting the ball during this game and everyone was productive with the opportunities This was a must needed dominating performance by the Chiefs as they head to Gillette stadium against the Super Bowl defending champs. Chiefs fans should be confident going into this game as the Patriots have been struggling with that terrible offense.

Week 11 vs Chargers
The Chiefs traveled to Mexico City to take on the division rival the Los Angeles Chargers. Recently, the Chiefs have been losing games and suddenly they’re in a situation where there playoff spot is in jeopardy. The Raiders are one game behind the Chiefs and loss against the Chargers would put the Chiefs out of the playoffs. Patrick Mahomes had one of his worst games of the season, but Philip Rivers would just make you slap your face. Rivers threw four INT on the night and looked uncomfortable all game. The Chiefs made plays when it was needed the most as Travis Kelce was ripping the Chargers apart with 92 yards and a TD on 7 catches. The Chargers had no answer for him all night. The Chiefs ended up holding off the Chargers in Mexico City to maintain their division lead. The Chefs head into the bye week and look to get things rolling for the playoffs.

Week 10 vs Titans
The Chiefs were taking on the Titans on the road in the return of Mahomes. It was a disappointment for everyone with the Chiefs losing this one 35-32. The Chiefs simply beat themselves in this one and lost a game that was a must win. The Raiders are right behind the Chiefs for the division lead and the Chiefs look like they’re blowing it. The Chiefs blew many opportunities in the red zone and had to settle for field goals, which kept the Titans in the game. The Chiefs ended up messing up a snap on a FG with a minute left and ended up losing cause of it. Mahomes drove the ball down the field and had a chance at the end, but ended up getting blocked on a missed offsides call. Chiefs play the Chargers on Monday night football in week 11.

Week 9 vs Vikings
Wow! This was by far the most interesting game to watch this season. It came down to the last second and the Chiefs fought hard without Mahomes. The Vikings have the leading rusher in the NFL, Dalvin Cook. He was only allowed to seventy- one yards on 21 carries! The Chiefs defense has been stepping up without Mahomes and they seem to get better every week. Chiefs have one of the hardest schedules in the NFL and they seem to keep winning tough games without Mahomes! Next, Damien Williams has earned his spot back in the offense with an amazing one hundred twenty five rushing yards on only twelve carries. He had a spark 92 yard TD run, which put the Chiefs up in the third quarter. Chiefs win in a nail bitter, 26-23. Good news is the Chiefs get Mahomes back against the Titans in week 10 and look to get home advantage for the playoffs.
Chiefs:
M. Moore- 25/35 275yds 1TD
D. Williams- 12Rush 125yds 1TD

K. Cousins- 19/38 220yds 3TD
D. Cook- 21Rush 71yds 0TD
L. Treadwill- 3/5 58yds 0TD
Week 8 vs Colts
The last time the Chiefs played the Packers at Arrowhead was about 6 years ago when the Chiefs ruined the Packers undefeated season in classic. The Chiefs were on Sunday Night Football again against the Green Bay Packers. Chiefs are down Mahomes and many other key defensive players. The defense stepped up in this one and the secondary was lacking the entire game. The game was very fun to watch as Aaron Rodgers just kept answering back against Matt Moore. Matt Moore had a great game and showed lots of hope for the Chief fans. He finished with a QB rating of 107.1, which is extremely good for someone who hasn’t started in a couple of seasons. The run game was lacking again, but the Chiefs fought hard and gave Aaron Rodger a real test. The Chiefs lost 31-24 in a shootout. Mahomes will most likely be out another week, but the fans shouldn’t be worried because they’re going to win the division with ease. The second team in the AFC West is the 3-4 Raiders…. Chiefs have the division locked up and should rest Mahomes another week to not risk anything. The Chiefs play the 6-2 Vikings at home next.
Chiefs:
M. Moore- 24/36 267yds 2TD 0INT
L. McCoy- 9Rush 40yds 0TD
T. Hill- 6/9 76yds 0TD
Packers:
A. Rodgers- 23/33 305yds 3TD 0INT
A. Jones- 13Rush 67yds 0TD
A.Jones- 7/8 159yds 2TD
Week 7 vs Broncos
Coming into this game the fans of Kansas City were concerned for the Chiefs. The Chiefs lost 2 games prior coming into this game and a loss against Denver would be devastating. The Chiefs were down early, but led all night after the score the next drive. The Chiefs defense showed a lot of signs of hope for the team with nine sacks! They had three different players on the defense that had a pair of sacks. The defensive line absolutely dominated all night and didn’t let Flacco breathe one bit. Chiefs fans were so heartbroken and devastated when Mahomes went down in the second quarter which appeared to be a knee injury… He didn’t return to the game, but reports say he’s only going to be out for a maximum of three weeks. Matt Moore the backup QB came in and still had a really good game! He threw for 117 yards and had a TD to Tyreek Hill. Chiefs basically lost this game with this tragic injury to Mahomes. Chiefs destroyed the Broncos in the final score of 30-6. They look to carry on their winning ways against Aaron Rodgers and the on fire Packers.
Chiefs:
P. Mahomes- 10/11 76yds 1TD 0INT
L. McCoy- 12 Rush 64yds 0TD
T. Hill- 3/5 74 yds 1TD
Broncos:
J. Flacco- 21/34 213 yds 0TD 8Sacks
P. Lindsay- 11 Rush 36yds
C. Sutton- 6/8 87yds 0TD
Week 6 vs Texans
Wow! The Chiefs are definitely in trouble after this loss. The fans saw many things that the Chiefs are weak at and need to improve in order to make a deep Super Bowl run. The offensive line is so bad and Mahomes isn’t able to do much cause of it. They only allowed one sack, but allowed them to hit Mahomes so much. Mahomes ended up tweaking his ankle again, but managed to play a good game as well. Another issue is the run game… The Chiefs have no run game at all and it showed on Sunday. The Texans held the Chiefs to 54 rushing yards! This puts so much pressure on Mahomes and makes it very difficult for the entire offense. Lastly, the defense got a couple of key turnovers, but was awful overall. They had two interceptions, but allowed 190 yards rushing… The Texans were controlling the game with the run game and prevented Mahomes from getting on the field. The Chiefs lost 31-24 in a nail bitter. They look to get back at it on Thursday Night against the struggling Broncos.
Chiefs:
P. Mahomes- 19/35 273yds 3TD 1INT
L. McCoy- 8rush 44yds 0TD
T. Hill- 8/10 80yds 2TD
Texans:
D. Watson- 30/42 280yds 1TD 2INT
C. Hyde- 26rush 116yds 1TD
D. Hopkins- 9/12 55yds 0TD
Week 5 vs Colts
The whole league was in shock after this game on Sunday Night Football. The Chiefs were heavily favored in this game and they had a real tough test as the Colts came away with the win. The Chiefs had 6 players get injured this game and they were key players. Mahomes was dealing with an ankle injury and was limping the entire game! The fans and the entire stadium was in silence as he was limping and struggling to move. Mahomes is turning out to be fine and plans on playing next Sunday. Also, it looks like D. Williams is taking control over the backfield after L. McCoy fumbling and ball carrying issues. This was the Chiefs first prime time football game and they absolutely blew it. The Chiefs ended up losing 19-13 and dug themselves in more of a whole with injuries. The Chiefs are in trouble and need players to get healthy. The Chiefs have a tough next three games, which includes the Texans, Denver, and the Packers. They look to get back on track next week against the Texans at Arrowhead stadium.
Chiefs:
P. Mahomes- 321 yds 1TD 0INT
D. Williams – 9rush 23yds 0TD
B. Pringle- 6/8 103yds 1TD
Colts:
J. Brissett- 151yds 1TD
M. Mack- 29rush 132yds 0TD
N.Hines- 4/5 46yds 0TD
Week 4 vs Lions
The Chiefs had the first real tough road game of the season. Everyone came into this game thinking the Lions weren’t very good, but they proved everyone wrong. They stuck with the Chiefs the entire game and pretty much locked up Mahomes to zero touchdowns! The Chiefs defense took a really big role in this game as the “best offense” in the league couldn’t move the ball downfield. Mahomes seemed out of sink and just couldn’t seem to hit his guys very well at all. The running game helped out a lot this game as D. Williams had two touchdowns and one was on the game winning drive! The Chiefs got down late and marched down the field to score with twenty seconds left to win the game. They play the Colts next week on Sunday night football.
Chiefs:
P. Mahomes- 24/42 315yds 0TD
D. Williams- 8Rush 13yds 2TD
